Wet desulfurization
The core aspect of flue gas wet desulfurization is the application of an absorption tower. In the scrubber tower, the lime slurry reacts chemically with the sulfur dioxide in the flue gas. The mass transfer effect of this process directly affects the efficiency of desulfurization, and the better its mass transfer effect, the higher the efficiency of desulfurization. The reaction products of lime and sulfur contain gypsum, which after dehydration can be marketed as a by-product, e.g. for gypsum board manufacturing in the construction industry. This process not only efficiently removes sulfur dioxide from the flue gas, but also achieves both environmental protection and economic benefits through the resourceful use of the reaction by-products.
Semi-dry desulphurization
The semi-dry desulfurization process is particularly suitable for systems with up to 1 million Nm3/h flue gas. We strongly recommend the use of our anti-clogging two-fluid nozzles specially designed for the desulfurization process. With its large flow cross section, it avoids clogging problems and at the same time significantly improves the efficiency of the desulfurization process by generating extremely small droplets and a large injection depth. Thanks to its excellent performance, this nozzle significantly reduces the amount of absorbent required, thereby reducing operating costs. In addition, a wide range of material options are available to meet the challenges of abrasive media and high ambient temperatures, ensuring that the nozzles remain durable even under harsh conditions.
Dry desulfurization
The core of the dry FGD process lies in the injection process of the fluidized bed reactor, which is mainly accomplished by the reflux lance. Depending on the site conditions and process requirements, the reflux lance can be equipped with a protection tube and an optional seal gas purge function to further enhance its adaptability and reliability. In order to cope with the harsh operating conditions and to extend the equipment life, we recommend retrofitting the return lance with wear protection devices, such as tile-shaped parts and other innovative designs. Combined with our spraying systems, we can offer you the optimal solution tailored to your process needs.
